There so much talk about empathy.

With empathy nothing happens.

However with compassion:

Compassion literally means “to suffer together.” Among emotion researchers, it is defined as the feeling that arises when you are confronted with another's suffering and feel motivated to relieve that suffering. Compassion is not the same as empathy or altruism, though the concepts are related.

Noam Chomsky, the renowned linguist and cognitive scientist, has written an op-ed in the New York Times. In the article, he argues that although The current spate of AI chatbots such as OpenAI’s ChatGPT and Microsoft’s Bing AI “have been hailed as the first glimmers on the horizon of artificial general intelligence,” we are nowhere near that level yet. While currently available AI chatbots may seem to mimic human creativity and ingenuity, they are doing so only based on statistical probability, and not as a result of the kind of deeper knowledge and understanding that belies all human thought processes and are thusly “stuck in a prehuman or nonhuman phase of cognitive evolution.” The predictions of machine learning systems will always be superficial and dubious”

Jeg leste akkurat at Elon Musk har i 2023 økt sin formue med 1000 milliarder kroner. Han har nå en formue på 2 350 milliarder kroner. Det er like mye som hele Norges nasjonal budsjett.

Bare nevner det sånn i forbifarten. En næringslivs leder som nekter å inngå tariffavtale med Tesla folk i Sverige.

Lately, I have challenged myself to post on SoMe what I consider the biggest threat to the survival of humankind. It is the story about the patriarchy. We don't about the elephant in the room. But, it is there. Like the air that we breathe. It is there, but we don't notice it.

This is for many an uncomfortable story. Surprisingly I have had no negative feedback so it seems as if I have touched a nerve.

But, looking at the world how it is today and when you read one of many definitions of the patriarchy. Read it and tell me what you think.

“A system of male dominance rooted in the ethos of war which legitimates violence, sanctified by religious symbols, in which men dominate women through control the control of female sexuality, with the intent of passing property to male heirs, and in which men who are heroes of war are told to kill men, and are permitted

of men’s wishes dominating women and nature.

You will become happy by just being your-self.

There are no accidents. Everything is right just the way it is.
There are no mistakes. you are in your right place going through those experiences that are necessary for you. There is nothing wrong. When you begin to appreciate this you will realize that the universe does not punish you, there is no God that punishes you, there is no world that is against you.
Things appear to happen in your lives because it's necessary for your spiritual unfoldment at this time. What appears to be bad is really a blessing in disguise.
What appears to be good may be a hindrance to you. This is why you should never judge yourself.
You have to have faith in the powers that be.
As you have faith enough you will become happy,
just by being yourself.
The secret is to allow the world to show you what it will, and for you not to react to anything. Have no opinion for or against.
Just by doing this alone, you come to the state where you can see and feel that the whole world,
the whole universe, is simply an emanation of your own mind.

115.000 barn lever i fattigdom
Fattigdomsgrensa i Norge er beregnet til 247 000 kroner, ifølge EUs indikator.

De rike får stadig en større del av kaka, og tallet på antall fattige stiger, viser tall fra SSB. I dag lever 115.000 barn i fattigdom her i landet.

Amal Adan lever under fattigdomsgrensa i Norge. Likevel har hun nå fått hjelp til boligkjøp for å skape et stabilt hjem for ungene sine.
