We are serial gambling entrepreneurs who know just how hard it is to raise funds for a start-up. We believe in the wisdom and power of the crowd and we will bring together our own crowd focussed on investing in and supporting start-ups in the gambling industry. We believe we have followed this model already, albeit without the technology platform and FCA authorisation. When we raised money for the Fox Poker Club we raised money through a Crowd of 30 different investors, many of whom had gambling experience and who helped the business with expertise and contacts as well as with investment.
GamCrowd will provide a platform for industry professionals and investors of all types who will provide support for the establishment of new businesses in the gambling sector through equity crowdfunding and with general support through crowdsourcing. GamCrowd has been launched by experienced gambling industry entrepreneurs that have a successful track record with various start-ups and who understand the challenges involved with starting a business in the gambling industry. The value of investments may go down as well as up and investors may not recover the amount they have invested. Investments in early stage / small to medium sized enterprises are high risk and you should not invest unless you can afford total loss or if you are likely to require the capital in the near future since such investments can be difficult to realise.
