Pioneering Women in Finance: Women like Abigail Adams, who, back in the 18th century, wisely invested in government bonds, and Hetty Green, known as the "Witch of Wall Street," who became one of the richest women in the world in the late 19th century. They paved the way for future generations of women in finance.

Present Day Leaders: Today, we have extraordinary women leading financial institutions, government bodies, and startups, demonstrating that finance is no longer a 'men's club'. Women like Janet Yellen, the first woman to chair the Federal Reserve and now the U.S. Treasury Secretary, and Mary Barra, the CEO of General Motors, are leading the way.

Empowering the Next Generation: As we forge ahead, let's continue to break barriers, shatter glass ceilings, and pave the way for the next generation of women in finance.

This month, we salute the women who've bravely charted their own path in finance and have inspired countless others to do the same. 💪💼

On Monday, August 18, I received a call from "Marcus by GS." I declined the call because I remembered opening an account about 8/9 years ago but never put money in it because I found another High Yield Savings Account.

Right after the call, I immediately received a 6-digit pin for access to the Marcus account. Within seconds, multiple calls came through along with another 6-digit pin and with a VERY CONVINCING series of voicemails that would prompt anyone to pick up on the 3rd or 4th call. The appeal to urgency and fear was apparent (to me).

I knew it was a scam!

I've, unfortunately, had clients succumb to similar scams with other banks over the years as well. And I knew that particular password was old. (Remember that Experian hack years ago where our personal info and passwords were taken?)

Sure enough, I went into Marcus using the old password and it worked.

BE CAREFUL! Even a savvy person can fall prey.

P.S. For the iPhone users, the answer is, YES! I do have the superior, ANDROID in case the screenshot seems foreign to you. 😎
