Peterborough Health Visitors CPFT We are here to help give children the best start in life. We promote physical, mental, social and emotional health for individuals and families.

We are part of the Universal 0-19 Service for children in Peterborough. The Health Visiting Service is a universal health service for all children aged 0-5 years and their parents/carers. Working closely with the school nursing service for school-age children https://www.facebook.com/School-Nursing-Peterborough-CPFT-118072608891185/, we aim to optimise health and promote learning through well-being and inclusion. Our health visiting teams are comprised of Health Visitors and Nursery Nurses. We work closely together to help support families in the first five years (until school entry). Health Visitors are nurses or midwives who have undertaken further training and education in child health, health promotion and public health. Nursery Nurses have the relevant qualifications and training in child health and development. They are also skilled at assessing child development and supporting families in a variety of different ways. Our core hours are 9-5, Monday to Friday, we do not operate at weekends or on bank holidays. Please note that this page is not manned 24 hours a day and there may be days such as weekends and bank holidays when the page is not updated.
