IIf you want better performance, faster recovery, and improved mobility, try self-myofascial release (SMR)—commonly known as foam rolling. Using rollers or massage balls to apply pressure to muscles and fascia can create real physiological benefits in as little as eight minutes a day.

What does it do?

Calm your nervous system: SMR helps shift your body from “fight or flight” into “rest and digest,” lowering heart rate, reducing stress, and improving sleep.

Increase range of motion: Rolling makes fascia more pliable, reduces tight “knots,” and helps muscles move more freely—often with immediate results.
