I grew up on a council estate in Huddersfield.

General labourer. Apprentice electrician. Bass player in a band. And eventually, an engineer at Heineken — on the improvement team. A brilliant job. Good money, good people, something to be genuinely proud of.

But nobody taught me about money. Nobody in my world talked about property or investments or wealth. That stuff was for other people.

Then in my 40s, someone showed me something simple. How money actually works. How a small surplus, managed the right way, can build into something that pays you without you having to clock in.

I followed it. Quietly, at the back — like the bass player I am. Ten properties. Financially free at 54.

By the time I left Heineken, I had built my own business alongside it. My partner said "why don't you" — and she was right.

Now I teach it.

Not to people who already have it figured out. To people like me. People the rest of the world wrote off.

Meet Jake.
Great lad. Nice car on finance, wears the right clothes, good job. From the outside Jake looks like he's winning.
And in many ways he is.
