Growth happens outside your comfort zone. Velocity matters just as much at 54 as it did at 24⚡️
This past weekend was all about pushing boundaries in two completely different arenas.
🏃♀️On the track: I’ve been intentionally building speed. It’s uncomfortable since I have always been a slow distance runner. Sprinting forces me to find a gear and mental state I didn’t know I had. I ran a 6.17.45 min mile… my fastest 1 mile ever!
🤝 At the Heart Sell Summit: I stepped into a fantastic networking event, connecting with incredibly powerful females and expanding my professional circle. At heart I’m an introvert so events like these can be challenging!
It got me to thinking how closely tied our worlds are. True growth requires a trifecta of stamina:
🔘 Physical Health: Training for speed and building the capacity to endure.
🔘 Mental Health: Having the grit and self belief to step out of your routine and embrace the unfamiliar and uncomfortable.
🔘 Financial Health: Intentionally building momentum and velocity so your future has fewer limits.
Growth is continuous regardless of age and doesn’t happen if you’re coasting. It happens when you decide to pick up the pace!
What’s one area you’re pushing for more speed this week?👇
