A quick update! I’ve joined Do Good Mortgage! Doing “good” isn’t just a tagline, it’s how we show up every day.

As a mortgage broker, I’m able to shop across multiple lenders to find what actually fits each clients situation. It’s one of the behind the scenes changes that makes a pretty big difference with better loan options, more flexibility and much, much better rates.

Same me, just a better way to do the work and help people with the dream of homeownership!

Getting the clear to close in 6 days is impressive.
Is it easy? It can be.

Any good loan officer can turn a messy file into a quick close.

But is it something we should strive for on EVERY file?

An expert knows how to understand their clients and move at a pace that fits them.

It's not just about speed.
It's about what’s right for each client.

A first-time homebuyer may feel overwhelmed easily.
Moving too fast can make a buyer feel insecure.

Experts should focus on the client’s journey.
Listen to their concerns.
Help them feel confident in their decisions.

The right expert knows this.

Take the time to understand your clients.
This will lead to better outcomes.
It’s about more than just closing a loan.
It’s about making sure they are ready for homeownership.

Expertise means caring for each client’s unique path.
Support them, and they will thank you later.

Here's the takeaway from the Mortgage Bankers Association Annual Conference held in Denver:

- The overall temperature of the room was mildly positive
- Most who are in the business still (read: survived 2023 and 2024) feel confident better times are ahead.

MBS Forecasts:
- Total loan originations to up over 30% in 2025 vs. 2024
- Purchases will make up 63% of production
- Expects 2025 to deliver 1.5 million more units originated than 2024
- Mortgage rates are expected to be high 5's/low 6's for most of the year - creates homebuyer competition (so buy ahead of the pack!)

How did YOUR 2024 go? Looking to make some changes? Lets business plan for 2025 now in November, set some goals together and crush 2025 as a team!
