The RBV in partnership with Global Green Growth Institute (GGGI) and the Agence Francaise de Development presented the Inclusive Green Finance Road Map for Vanuatu, 2026 - 2030.

Some key initiatives the Road map will encourage:
1. Increase Solar energy loans
2. Climate resilient housing loans
3. Microfinance
4. Parametric Micro insurance.
5. Develop practical guidance for Environmental, Social and Governance note for the Financial Institutions.

The National Financial Inclusion Taskforce has kicked of year 2026 with its 2nd Meeting- Tuesday, 27th January 2026.

During the meeting, the NFIT endorsed the short term implementation plans for the following Technical Working Groups:

1. Digital Financial service Technical Working Group
2. MSME Finance Technical Working Group
3. Inclusive Green Finance Technical Working Group
4. Financial Education, Capability and Consumer Protection Technical Working Group.

Before heading off for Christmas and New Years 2026 🥳, we are blessed to have trained another 26 Teachers 👨‍🏫👩‍🏫whom will join the Money Minded facilitators. Come 2026 we will work together with them to undertake more Financial literacy awareness.

We will continue to teach Financial Literacy within our communities and ensure we reach everyone (Women, Youth, Elderly, Special Needs, Men) 👨‍🦳👩👩‍🦳🧔🧔‍♂️👵🧓🧑‍🦰👨‍🦯🧑‍🦽👨‍👩‍👦‍👦

You will undertake 1 week training, 1 field training and be certified as a Money Minded Facilitator.

This individuals will join our team of Financial Literacy Awareness facilitators.

Training is free and offered only in Port Vila

- Comprehensive credit reporting
- Reviewing Credit Union Framework and Regulations
- develop Framework for Microfinance Institutions
- Encourage Registration of Assets in the Personal Property Security Register for access to credit

Inclusive Green Finance WG:
- development of the Inclusive Green Finance Road map
- assess the need for a Green Taxonomy
- Prioritise Digital Payment Systems for Pre and Post Disaster
