Dear Diary,

Today let’s talk about Regulation and how it might affect our investment journey.

🍀 But before that, kindly please accept my very sincere apologies my dear Diary. I was so so occupied lately that I didn’t write anything to you. Businesses in our city are facing a lot of obstacles and it’s pretty hard to see a way out.

🍀 The whole city (or even the region) is currently under a very severe regulation and the future becomes harder to predict. The province’s main industries are going through a very dark tunnel without any exit. Capital for real estate projects comes from the outside and therefore I can hardly see any sustainability 😒

🍀 So, if people come to me and ask where to put their money in, I would answer: “Nowhere! For maybe the next 2 years!”

(Well, or we can learn from my Mom, saving accounts! This is what she has been doing for the entirety of her life. She always has my hats off 👏🏻)

Dear Diary,

Today I want to talk about vision, or in my own terminology: "the perception of our more and more uncertain future."

🌿 Back there at school, we often talked about NPV (net present value) and the future was so simplified by just a certain discount rate. Unfortunately the future of the world we live in nowadays is not that simple, at least in my opinion. The years pass by and the level of uncertainty goes up the stairs. When I talked to Miss CIO about this, she answered: "well in our field we can't wait to have a perfect certainty to communicate to our customers. Just be brave, go ahead with 20% and saill with the wind. But more importanly, let our customers know." (Love you my dear Ms CIO)

🌿 In the car going to the airport to pickup an important customer, I talked to the best salesperson (hereafter referred to as “Ms Top Sales”) and the most energetic consultant of the firm (hereafter referred to as “Mr Red Bull”) about Investment concept. When I was in the Food service Industry we often talk about Gastronomy concept or tailored Food & Beverage solution. To be honest, it was my main tool to obtain very loyal customers ☺️ So I think that I can apply the same formula, something can be called as "cross-industry R&D," no? Need to give more thoughts on that subject.

Dear Diary,

This is the very first time I decide to write about my daily progress on social media. "Friday April 19th, 2019" marked a big turning point in my life: I offcially get myself into the Investment journey! Well I used to hate money because I thought it demolishes human goodness and kindness, but I guess I wasn't strong enough to face it ☺️

Everyday is a new challenge, new thinking, new emotion and even new mistake. It has been 5 days since that important day and I was a bit slow to keep track so here is a short recap:

🍀Day 1: Meeting with the CEO of the Real Estate Investment firm (hereafter referred to as “Mr CEO”). After 15 minutes talking to Mr CEO, he called the Chief Invesment Officer (hereafter referred to as “Ms CIO”) and asked her to be my mentor. This is how I officially become a member of the firm! No labor contract needed, no confidentiality agreement needed! My only source of revenue is the Commission from the Sales that I can get!

🍀Day 2: Ms CIO asked me to act as a translator for the meeting with 2 Korean customers and summarized the benefits of a project next to the international airport. After 1,5h I finished my very first Real Estate flyer design and Ms CIO was so surprised (Oui Madame, this is how I often love to exceed people's expectation 😎) Later on, the meeting went so well, I was a bit surprised of how Mr Lee (one of the 2 customers) was fluent in English. He asked to go on a quick city tour. My pleasure, since I know this city so well and always proud to talk about different subjects regardless of my dear hometown.

🍀Day 3: I went to a free trial Real Estate training course. The trainer was the CEO of another Real Estate Investment firm. I'm really sorry Mr Trainer, but after listening for 2 hours, I just realized how fortunate I am, to be able to work with my Ms CIO and Mr CEO 😋

🍀Day 4: Having so much going on for the last 3 days, I decided to go online and told myself to really invest time & effort to inspire other people who wish to get themselses into Investment. "Easy to say, hard to do" but I will try my best as I always live each day as if it were my last 🙂
