🇫🇷🇹🇭 MLR Legal was honored to co-organize, together with the Franco-Thai Chamber of Commerce (FTCC), the seminar “Navigating Thailand’s Economic Trends: Opportunities for Business Growth”, held in Bangkok on 20 November 2025.

This event took place at a pivotal moment for Thailand, marked by major political milestones ahead. It provided a valuable platform to explore national economic and strategic initiatives, and to discuss current and future free trade agreements—key drivers of Thailand’s competitiveness and attractiveness for foreign investors.

Rémi Nguyen, Partner at MLR Legal, had the privilege of delivering the opening remarks alongside Jean-Boris Roux, President of the FTCC, who shared insightful perspectives on Franco-Thai economic dynamics and bilateral investment opportunities.

The panel discussion, expertly moderated by Mr. Worawit Nitiborrirak, Partner at MLR Legal Thailand, brought together prominent Thai political figures:
• Ms. Sirikanya Tansakun, Deputy Leader, Move Forward Party
• Mr. Jittipoj Wiriyaroj, Member of Parliament, Pheu Thai Party
• Mr. Werapong Art Prapha (วีระพงษ์ ประภา) Art Prapha, Deputy Leader, Democrat Party

This seminar highlighted the importance of public–private dialogue, the need for a predictable regulatory framework, and the essential role of stronger economic cooperation between France and Thailand.

This provided us with a valuable opportunity to gain insights into the province's rapid development and its appeal to potential investors. We extend our sincere gratitude to Mr. Long and the Vice-President of Vinh P**c Province's People's Committee for their warm reception.

🛵The mission continued with a visit to the Piaggio Vietnam factories, offering a profound understanding of the history of this iconic Italian brand and its business model in Vietnam and the region. Our heartfelt thanks to Mr. Daniele Landini and his entire team for their exceptional hospitality. The professionalism demonstrated during the visit left a lasting impression on all delegation members.

Last week, we had the chance to receive the visit of H.E. Mr Nicolas Warnery, French Ambassador to Vietnam at the MLR Advisory office based in the business center of the CCI France Vietnam - CCIFV in Hanoi. We share our views on the legal and economic situation in the country and various projects related to the 50th founding anniversary of diplomatic ties and the 10th anniversary of strategic partnership between France and Vietnam.
