Some opportunities feel like recognition. Others feel like confirmation that you’re building in the right direction. This one feels like both. 💙

Building KaribPay has meant choosing to tackle a problem that is deeply Caribbean — how we make moving, spending and accessing money simpler and more inclusive across our region.

There have been long days, regulatory hurdles, pivots, uncomfortable questions, and plenty of moments where the vision has been bigger than the resources available to execute it. But I’ve continued building because I genuinely believe the Caribbean deserves financial technology designed with our realities, our businesses and our people in mind.

I’m entering this experience ready to learn, be challenged, strengthen KaribPay, build meaningful relationships across the region, and come out of it a better founder.

The goal was never simply to build an app. The goal is to build infrastructure that can help move the Caribbean forward.

🚀I’m excited to share that I’ve been selected to join the Caribbean Startup Bootcamp by Institute Caribbean!

As part of this AI-native program, I’ll be joining a community of founders from across the Caribbean who are building innovative solutions and leveraging technology to solve meaningful problems.

Through the program, I’ll have the opportunity to strengthen my startup through mentorship, practical learning, ecosystem connections, and collaboration with fellow entrepreneurs across the region.

I’m looking forward to this next chapter, the connections ahead, and everything we’ll build along the way.

The Caribbean Startup Bootcamp is part of Conecta Caribbean, an initiative under the CARIBEquity Facility, co-funded by Lab and the Union, working together to build a more connected entrepreneurial ecosystem across the Caribbean.
