Today our adventure came to a premature end. Yahoo Finance beat us to market, and just entering the demo phase and months from full deployment, we can’t catch up with our capital constraints and life circumstances.

This news would not hurt as much if it wasn’t for the amazing team which I had to tell good-bye. They are some of the most talented, driven and intelligent men I will ever know. They managed to handle a full college course load while working sixty hours a week, and excelled in both areas. While I have no doubt every one of them will go on to great success in their future ventures, I’m heartbroken I will not be an eye witness to them overcoming the impossible and making the world a better place. Torch would have died many deaths before now if it wasn’t for them.

While I’m not sure what comes next, Torch’s vision of simplifying investing will live on in each of us.

Thank you for your support. No matter how small or big, you helped make this journey possible.
