Attention my realtor friends and possible homebuyers! There are creative ways to get your rate in 5's. Today, I was able to lock a borrower in at 7.5% on a 30yr fixed rate. The seller was willing to pay for a temporary 2-1 buydown. For the first year, the borrower's rate will 5.5%! The second year, the borrower's rate will be 6.5%. The remaining 30yr term, the borrower's rate will be at 7.5%. Most experts believe we will be in the low 6's, high 5's this time next year. You can refinance then and not only that you can get back what you don't use on the buydown. DM me if you have any questions. There are good options out there. And sellers are motivated!
