🚨 Major Update for the Mortgage Industry!

The Homebuyers Privacy Protection Act has officially passed the Senate and is now awaiting the President’s signature. 👏🏛️

If signed, this law will amend the Fair Credit Reporting Act to significantly restrict mortgage trigger leads, limiting when and how credit bureaus can sell a consumer’s information after a credit pull.

Once implemented (expected in 6 months), consumers will likely see a dramatic drop in:

📞 Spam calls
📬 Junk mail
🤖 Unsolicited “bait-and-switch” offers
👀 Misleading solicitations from companies posing as LOs

This is a HUGE win for consumer privacy and a step forward for transparent, ethical lending.
