Last week’s Statewide Banker Luncheon brought together bankers from across Louisiana for meaningful conversations about legislation from the 2026 State Regular Session, current federal issues, and the opportunities and challenges facing Louisiana’s banking industry.

We’re proud to welcome Kylee Juarez and Bella Lambert to the Bank of Zachary team!

Kylee and Bella will serve as our 2026–2027 Redhawk Branch Student Tellers at Central Private School, gaining valuable, practical experience while building important financial literacy skills along the way.

As student tellers, they’ll learn about saving, budgeting, banking, money management, and making smart financial decisions -- skills that will surely serve them well long after graduation. They’ll also help us to bring those lessons to their fellow students by encouraging their classmates to develop healthy money habits and confidence in managing their finances.

We’re thrilled to have Kylee and Bella on the team and can’t wait to see the impact they make on the Redhawk Branch and across the Central Private community!

We’re excited to officially introduce the four Zachary High School students who will serve as Bank of Zachary Bronco Branch Student Tellers for the 2026–2027 school year!

Please join us in welcoming Mia Roberts, Brionna White, Paige Marionneaux, and Braylon Bouvia to the Bank of Zachary!

Our new student tellers have worked hard through training and orientation, and they’re ready for an exciting year of learning, growing, and serving their fellow Broncos. This experience will give them valuable, real-world skills in banking, customer service, communication, and financial responsibility, all while representing the Bank of Zachary and the ZHS community with pride.

And what a great way to welcome them to the team. It’s a busy week at ZHS!

Strong community banking takes strong leadership and expertise. Thank you to Sam James, Bank of Zachary’s Chief Risk Officer, for representing us on the Bank Leadership Panel at the Compliance Alliance Team Meet Up in New Orleans.

Sam joined industry leaders to discuss key issues shaping community banking, from fraud and regulatory expectations, to AI, strategic planning, and risk management.

His participation reflects the expertise and leadership that Bank of Zachary brings to the industry, and we’re proud to have Sam sharing his perspective and helping to shape the conversations that matter to community banks.

We were excited to take part in last week’s Central Chamber Parish-Wide Update Luncheon and enjoyed hearing updates from community leaders about the progress happening across East Baton Rouge Parish.

Even better, we got to see some good friends while we were there! We’re grateful for opportunities like this to connect, stay informed, and support the communities we’re proud to serve.

Great job, Thomas!

This summer, we welcomed Thomas Collins to the Bank of Zachary team as an intern. A native of Erath, LA, Thomas is a junior at Louisiana State University, where he is majoring in Economics with a minor in Financial Analytics.

During his time with us, Thomas worked closely with our Credit Department on several projects, giving him the opportunity to apply what he’s learning at LSU while gaining a better understanding of the many moving parts that make a bank successful.

We’re thrilled to announce that Thomas will continue his internship with Bank of Zachary through the fall! We appreciate his hard work and look forward to seeing all he accomplishes and contributes to our team in the months ahead. Way to go!
