Tomorrow is a pretty big day in the finance world.

You're going to see a lot of posts and articles about the Fed Rate cut. But what does this mean for mortgages?

The Fed Rate is not directly tied to mortgage rates. We are anticipating the Federal Reserve to make a cut on the Federal Funds rate, but this does not mean that interest rates are going to come down overnight.

Markets are forward thinking, and the recent reduction of the interest rate was in anticipation of this rate cut that could happen tomorrow.

Something to keep an eye out on, is if they discuss future rate cuts in the future. We are anticipating mortgage rates will continue to come down going into next year, which makes this a great time to buy a home now, and refinance while the rates continue to trickle down.
