Over ten quarters, Charleston and her team operated a virtual bank, making strategic decisions involving lending, deposits, investments, liquidity, capital management, and overall financial performance. Serving as CFO, Charleston worked alongside her teammates to develop a strategy focused on sustainable long-term growth and collaboration.

Their hard work, teamwork, and thoughtful decision-making culminated in a winning presentation that earned CARE Bank top honors among the participating teams. Through the program, Charleston gained valuable knowledge in areas including lending, investments, risk management, and bank performance, while developing a deeper understanding of how every part of a bank works together to drive success. We’re excited to announce the promotion of Yodalis Santos to Branch Manager of our new Callahan Branch upon its opening!

Yodalis joined First Port City Bank in May 2025 at our Fernandina Beach Branch and has quickly become an important part of our team. Through her dedication, strong work ethic, and commitment to serving customers, she has advanced from Teller to Personal Banker, then Assistant Branch Manager, and now Branch Manager.

Throughout her time with FPCB, Yodalis has built strong relationships with customers and coworkers alike. She is known for her positive attitude, willingness to help, and attention to detail. Her ability to recognize and prevent potential fraud has helped protect both our customers and the bank, while her leadership and dependability have earned the respect of those around her.

Sheryl joined First Port City Bank in December 2022 as a Client Development Specialist in the Florida Market, bringing more than 35 years of experience in sales, marketing, and relationship development. Throughout her time with the bank, she has been instrumental in building business relationships, strengthening community partnerships, and expanding the bank’s presence throughout the communities it serves.

In her role, Sheryl focuses on developing new business relationships, expanding commercial banking opportunities, and connecting customers with the banking solutions that best support their goals.
