OUT OF OFFICE 🖤

Headed to the airport this morning to say goodbye to my Thatha.

She was a firecracker. She loved her family fiercely, and if you were anywhere near her kitchen, chances are she was cooking something for you. Food was how she loved people, and family was always at the center of everything.

I’ll be out of the office today and a little slower to respond. There will always be another call to make, another email to answer, and another day to work.

But there are some moments you don’t get back.

Today is about being together. Telling stories. Remembering her. Probably talking about her cooking. And celebrating the woman who helped shape the family we are today.

Family first. Always.

Today, I get to simply be her Habibi, one last time.

But that’s usually not the question I want to answer first.

I want to know what payment feels comfortable after the mortgage is paid.

What do you want left for travel?
Kids’ activities?
Dinner out?
