This month, SCU Giveback is highlighting four local nonprofits doing incredible work for animals in our community. First up: SNIP💙

Volunteer-run, community-built, and making a real difference for animals in Siskiyou County.

Stop by our Yreka or Mount Shasta branch to drop off dog or cat food donations and grab a ticket for a chance to win a basket. Every little bit helps!

Come enjoy a spaghetti feed and auction benefiting rescue dogs in need. Great food, fun auction items, and a night spent helping dogs get the second chances they deserve.

Siskiyou Humane Society Adoption Center
Purr-Angels

Every donation made at SCU this month goes directly to these organizations. We’re also collecting wet and dry cat and dog food donations at both branches. Stop by to contribute!

Hey there, Siskiyou! We are in need of cat food donations, please. Canned and dry, any brand is fine. You can drop donations off at our building at 106 Oberlin Rd, Yreka, behind Ponderosa Vet, or call Denise for pikup 530.643.2507. We can continue our mission, only with your help. Because of your generous support, we have spayed/neutered/vaccinated over 7,000 stray and feral cats and kitteens since 2006: YOU did that! Thank you! 😻🐈🐈‍⬛🐈

Bowie radiates sweetness and adores people! Though he has a unique perspective on cats, he thrives on harmony with other dogs, provided introductions are made with gentle care.

He’s been with us for awhile and would like a home to call his own.
