Nice article by Matt Benjamin highlighting some encouraging news for investors. Earnings estimates are on the rise and earnings are the primary driver of a stock's price. In addition S&P 500 profit margins rose in the second quarter and companies are now much less concerned about a potential recession compared to a year ago. Nothing is ever set in stone but overall this is a positive sign.

Nice to see this kind of change in trend! US earnings revision momentum is positive for the first time since April, and is leading the other major aggregates. Japan and Phillipines are the only other countries with positive earnings momentum at this time. China is still a big drag on global trends.
