Thursday I had my back surgery, all 12 1/2 hours. Original plan was to fuse 4 vertebrae ultimate results. 9 vertebrae fused because of all the deterioration. Care has been wonderful here and today I walked three halls and climbed a flight of stairs up and down. Walked to the end of the second hall to see cathedral at Pitt. The plan is to come home tomorrow afternoon as long as the wound vac slows down. All this on Tylenol and a muscle relaxer. Feel pretty good considering what they did. Walking on my own without cane or walker!!!!

PSA: our parking lot is not a dumpster or ash tray. This is what I found today between my car and the front sidewalk! Every day there's garbage in the parking lot or cigarette butts on the bench. PLEASE pick up your trash! Rant over, thanks for reading. 😀

We sincerely apologize to anyone who has been trying to contact us for the last two weeks, but we have been without internet and phones due to a Verizon outage. Afterneay 2 hours on hold, we were guaranteed that the problem would be fixed by 7 PM on July 1st. Well, that did not happen. We are still without both internet and phones. Please bear with us while we get this fixed. For immediate assistance, please call the customer service number listed on your policy. Thank you for your patience and understanding.

Finally spoke with Verizon, we are part of a large outage from a lightning strike. There is a tech coming out this afternoon to work on it. We should be back up and running on Thursday 7/2.
