Understanding Alzheimer's Disease

June is Alzheimer's & Brain Awareness Month, a time to raise awareness about a disease that affects millions of individuals and families.

Alzheimer's disease is not a normal part of aging. Early warning signs may include memory loss that disrupts daily life, difficulty completing familiar tasks, confusion with time or place, and changes in mood or personality.

Recognizing the signs early can help individuals and families access resources, support, and care sooner.
