⏱️ Improved my lap times at EchoPark Speedway
🏆 Finished TOP 5 in Race 1 of the doubles

And oh yeah… I WON RACE 2! 🏆🏁🔥

ROUND 7 RECAP 🏁

We rolled off ready to charge to the front, but about 10 laps into the race I started losing my brakes. From that point on, I just did everything I could to hang on and keep pushing.

On a restart, we made contact with another car and the front bumper got knocked off. When the next caution came out, we had to head to the grid so my crew could get it reattached. That meant restarting at the very back with only 3 laps to go.

I didn’t give up. I charged through the field and brought home a 9th-place finish.

It may feel like we can’t seem to catch a break this season, but I can see the progress every time we hit the track. We’re getting faster, learning more each week, and continuing to fight no matter what gets thrown our way.

To top it all off, I was honored to earn the Bandit Division AFCO Fastest Lap of the Race Award with a lap of 18.802 seconds! Huge thanks to my family, crew, sponsors, and everyone who continues to support me. We’ll keep working hard and be ready to battle again next round! 💪🏁

🏁Round 6 Race Recap🏁

This round was my best run of the season so far. The speed was there from the moment we hit the track.

I started P4 in a stacked 15-car Bandit field and got a great launch from the outside, moving up to P2 on the opening lap. I held that position for the first 11 laps then had an awesome and fun battle for second with my good friend Maverick Bradshaw, trading the position for multiple laps before a caution slowed the field.

On the restart, I lined up on the inside of row two and gave up the second-place spot, but I quickly worked my way back and regained P2 with five laps remaining. Unfortunately, heading into Turn 1 on lap 15, another driver drove straight through us, spinning us out and bringing out another caution. Just like that, we went from battling for the lead to restarting at the rear of the field.

To say I was frustrated and heartbroken would be an understatement. Having my strongest run of the year taken away like that was tough to swallow. But I refused to let it ruin the day. I kept my head up, dug deep, chose smart on restarts, and drove as hard as I could, charging back through the field to finish in the top five, in 5th position, when the checkered flag flew.

I may not have gotten the result I deserved, but the speed, determination, and fight were there all night. Our team is taking that momentum into Round 7 and looking for even more.
