Sadly, many school districts have eliminated Financial Literacy from their curriculum due to the pressures created by state testing. I'm proud to have taught in a school district for 25 years that had administrators, and school board members, who understand the value of financial literacy. Financial Literacy and Economics is a graduation requirement at Dallastown Area HS and provides relevant content every day, preparing students for the future.
After teaching Financial Literacy for 10 years, I realized I was ready for a "second career", helping families develop financial game plans to become properly protected, debt-free, and financially independent.
