Did you know? 🤔 If you’re working past age 65, you might not need to sign up for Medicare just yet! 🙌

As long as your employer coverage is considered creditable, you can delay enrolling in Medicare until you’re ready to retire. 🎉 Be sure to check with your HR team or benefits advisor to confirm your coverage qualifies.

⏳ About 3 months before you retire (and lose employer coverage), it’s time to start the Medicare process. Don’t forget to have your employer complete Form CMS-L564 to verify your creditable coverage! ✔️

💡Do you know the ABCD's of Medicare? It can be very confusing, but it is our job to simplify it for you.

Medicare Part A: Hospital Insurance | Medicare Part A covers inpatient hospital, skilled nursing, and hospice. It is premium‑free for most beneficiaries.

Medicare Part B: Medical Insurance | Medicare Part B covers doctors and services, such as routine medical, preventive services, outpatient services, durable medical equipment. Part B has a monthly premium.

What Medicare Parts A & B Do Not Cover | Original Medicare leaves several common coverage gaps, so it is very important to understand the coverage gaps and what your options are to help cover those gaps.

Medicare Part C: Medicare Advantage | Medicare Advantage plans wrap your Part A and B into one plan. It can also cover your drugs and extra benefits such as dental, vision, hearing, etc. This is offered through private insurers.

Medicare Part D: Prescription Drug Coverage | Medicare Part D helps you pay for your prescription drugs. It is offered through private plans.

Medicare Advantage Plan enrollees can change to a different Medicare Advantage Plan OR back to Original Medicare with a Medicare Supplement* and a Prescription Drug plan. You have until March 31st to make these changes.
