EMPLOYEE SPOTLIGHT:

This week we have one of the namesakes of the business, Dave Bluett.

Dave has been with Dietz & Bluett since 2006 joining shortly after Lee started. As an Agency Principal with a focus on financial management, HR, and personal lines departments, Dave handles billing, finances, and ensuring team alignment.

The most challenging part of Dave's job is keeping everyone on the same page in an ever-changing industry. Despite these challenges, he is motivated by the dynamic nature of the work, the growth of the business, and keeping clients satisfied.

Dave holds a P&C license and has a background in math and actuarial science from Elizabethtown College. His career path included roles at T. Rowe Price, and various underwriting and claims positions, which eventually led him to join and help create Dietz & Bluett.

Outside of work, Dave enjoys family activities, playing tennis and golf, and coaching his youngest son's baseball team. He has two children: an 18-year-old heading to Millersville University and a 15-year-old baseball player.
