Did you get a text that you owe money for a toll? Take a pause and think before you click!

Fraudsters are sending fake text messages impersonating toll agencies saying that you have an unpaid toll. If you click on the link included in the message, it might prompt you to enter personal information, payment details, or start downloading malware onto your device. Always verify any unexpected communication before interacting with any links or attachments!

How to protect yourself:

• Stop – Take a pause before interacting with the message
• Verify the message – Go to the verified toll agencies website or give them a call (Don’t use any link or phone number that is included within the message)
• Don’t click on any link or attachment that you were not expecting to receive
• Delete and report the message as spam

Fraudsters want you to react before you take the time to verify the request, so remember to take a pause and think before you click!

Today is National Nonprofit Day, and we can’t think of a better way to celebrate than announcing the winners of our Nominate a Nonprofit contest! 🎉🍦

Thank you to everyone who nominated an organization making a difference in their community. We received so many wonderful nominations, and five organizations were selected at random to receive a visit from the ACNB Bank Ice Cream Van.

Our Eastern Boulevard office team had a wonderful time connecting with neighbors, meeting local first responders, and celebrating the strong sense of community that makes this event so special.
