JWI Group was proud to attend Big I Westchester’s 60th Annual Education Day at The Opus Westchester.

This year’s theme, “Navigating the Current Market,” was particularly relevant as the insurance marketplace continues to evolve.

Two panel discussions provided perspectives from both sides of the industry. Representatives from INSUREtrust, Risk Placement Services (RPS), and XS Brokers discussed the wholesale and E&S marketplace, while Greater New York Insurance Companies, NYCM Insurance, and Utica National shared the carrier perspective.

For an independent insurance agency, relationships with both carrier and wholesale partners are important. Access to multiple markets allows us to explore different solutions, particularly when a risk does not fit neatly within the standard insurance marketplace.
