Chartered in 1890 as our town and area were taking off, we built on the success of the San Antonio & Aransas Pass Railroad. Meet Makenzie Luera, one of the friendly faces you'll find at Yoakum Bank! As a Teller and CSR, she loves helping customers with everything from everyday transactions to navigating more complex banking needs. What makes her role especially meaningful is being part of a supportive team while continuing to learn and grow each day.

Looking ahead, she's excited to keep building relationships with the people she serves—becoming someone customers know by name, trust, and feel comfortable turning to for all of their banking needs.

And here's a fun fact: she has a twin sister, and they were born on Friday the 13th under a full moon—which might explain why she loves all things spooky!
