I received all the paperwork that my business is closed as of today, so I am deleting this page. It will be gone in 2 weeks, so just continue to follow me on my page. Thanks to all for your support over these last 3 years-I really appreciate it!

It's official-I sent the paperwork in to close the business so I'm retired! I'm thinking it's a good thing because the longer I gone, the more I feel I "out of the loop". Even getting all the information from the feds, it's isn't the same as doing the work daily. So here's to retirement and whatever the next great adventure will be!

Sorry it's been so long since I posted. Nothing new on the business front, so I guess contractors are set with their E&T for the coming year. That's OK because retirement is getting more appealing the longer I work at it. I have another 6 months on my license, so we'll see if I decide to continue. I'll keep you all updated with any changes.

Still waiting to see if any new contactors come on board. I did have a WA BFET contractor contact me, so we will see if something comes of that. There are new things happening in the federal world all the time, so I have to really stay on top of things. But for now, traveling with my husband and trying to help my daughter, whose husband is dealing with cancer. That's all until something new happens.

Completed my Georgia contract and they did not renew so I have no contracts. My license is good until February 2020 and if nothing comes up I will officially retire. Continuing to keep informed about federal issues, but we will see what happens. For now, I'm content to see what God has planned for me next. I do love to teach people, so maybe I will still use that in some way. I'm sure whatever it will be it will be an adventure.

Finished my final deliverable to Georgia today, so unless there are questions I'm done with this year's contract. Nothing on the horizon ahead, but we will see what the year holds. Looking into some volunteer work and starting back to the gym. This might be the last year for my business and I'm OK with that-retirement is fine as long as I keep myself busy. We will see what the rest of the year holds for me and the business.

I get notifications of people viewing my sight every week, so if you are one of those who "pop" in to see my sight, send me a message. I would love to connect with you, even if you just want more information about what I might be about to do for your company. I work especially with federal funds, but I have a financial background of more than 30 years and can do other fiscal areas as well. Hope to hear from some of you who come to view my sight.

In light of the federal shutdown it's hard to reach out to new clients. Still working for Georgia for now and I'll see if they will renew their contract with me in April. Sometimes I wonder if it's time to ready retire, but I think I still have knowledge to give to others and I love to teach. Let's see what 2019 holds for this business.

Yay-the Georgia contact is finally signed. The contract began 10/1, so let's just say if WA did this I would have been talking to someone higher up. So I can get paid and get back to work. I do enjoy working some-don't think I'm ready for full retirement yet. 😊

Waiting on Georgia to sign the new FFY contract. Worked in October and can't get paid because there's no contract-I hate it when I make myself stick to the rules! I decided not to do anything for November because we still don't have a signed contract, so here's hoping it gets signs soon so I can get back to work. There are times contracting isn't fun.

Completed training for WA state this week. It was fun to go back and see old friends and hopefully give them information that helps them do their jobs better. My goal in starting my business is to see that states are properly trained in how to manage the E&T funds and follow the guidelines. It's interesting how different states E&T programs are organized. Learning quite a bit as I talk to various states, so we will see if any new contracts come up soon.
