~Severe Weather Outbreak Sunday-Sunday Night~

A severe weather outbreak will be possible Sunday afternoon, evening, and into the overnight hours for portions of MN, SD, IA, NE, and KS. Everything is expected to come together (for the most part) for fast-moving northeast-moving supercells and line segments. Storms should quickly develop by mid-afternoon in north-central KS and central NE before racing northeast. Ahead of these storms, given the broad warm sector, they will likely hold intensity for a long time. Strong tornadoes, very large hail, and damaging straight-line wind gusts of 75 mph or slightly higher will all be possible.
