Our Story
Our agency was established in 1967 by Bobby Walters. A Wytheville native, Bobby was a State Farm agent for 37 years until he passed away unexpectedly in 2002. At that time, Jennifer Walters left her position as a Senior Claims Representative with State Farm and returned to Wytheville to continue her father’s legacy.
After graduating from Roanoke College in 1990, Jennifer spent 3 years as a first grade school teacher in Wythe County. She started her career with State Farm in claims in 1993. During her time as a claims representative, she lived in Northern Virginia and Atlanta and spent 2 years on the National Catastrophe Team, traveling the country. She has been with State Farm for over 25 years now.
