This is so cool!!

We're excited to share that KPS is among 15 districts in Michigan awarded a grant for the Accessible Period Products (APP) Program! This initiative, in line with recent state legislation, ensures free access to essential menstrual care products, with KPS offering 20 pads or tampons monthly per student, promoting full participation in their educational journey without the worry of barriers related to menstrual care.

I suprised Mr. Veldman at Cherry Creek Elementary in Lowell with a $1000 grant for staff appreciation. He was so excited as they were looking for funding for a staff Christmas party.
