Happy Anniversary to me. Thirteen years ago I passed the MA Public Adjusters exam and switched from representing the insurance companies to representing and helping the home and business owners.

This weekend we are going to experience temperatures in the single digits and below zero temps with the wind chill.
Here are a few things you can do to reduce your risks of frozen pipes.
1) Turn your thermostats up to 70 degrees tonight before you head to bed. Leave at this temp until the weather breaks.
2) Leave faucets dripping in problem areas as long as drains are draining well.
3) open cabinet doors under your kitchen sink and also your bathroom sinks.
4) Lastly check all your doors and windows in basement to make sure there closed tight.
Please stay safe during this extreme cold !
