9/11 Thoughts as Time Marches On
By The Magic Agent
No Sales Today.😳 No Marketing Today.😳 Nothing but THANKS and REMEMBERANCE TODAY❤. PLEASE READ!
I have no idea what compelled me to write this tonight, but it came to me and I feel it to be with purpose. IF you make it to the end, God Bless you my friend.
We need prayer everyday like we had at 10:01 am on September 11th, 2011. Let me start off by saying that much I know—the prayer and strength of this country was something I could never accurately describe in that moment, day, week, month, and even year.
I was 15 years old sitting in my driver’s education class—I hadn’t even taken enough History or Economics to fully understand what a “terror attack” was—much less one on our own soil. In fact, I don’t think there was a single class available to me that could have ever prepared me for what was simply not possible in my mind—in ALL of our minds. The televisions were turned on in our classrooms—and we, as a group, sat and watched the terror unfold in front of us. We weren’t even old enough to watch an R Rated movie without our parents, yet here we were literally living through one on live TV.
We didn’t have cell phones to actively communicate with our parents or loved ones. There was no immediate phone call that could be made that would track them down the way a cell phone does today. NOPE. You simply had to call a landline, leave a message, and then hope & pray. SO MANY HOPED AND PRAYED
The messages left on answering machines were gut wrenching. Husbands trying to tell their wives a lifetime full of words and emotions in less than minutes. Daughters thanking their parents for all the things they wish they had said thank you for throughout YEARS, just trying to beat that last beep. That last chance at having their loved one hear their rawest, most real emotion. The last chance to leave an impact, their impact, on this Earth.
I SIMPLY CANNOT IMAGINE😔
And then there was another side of this horrible tragedy that was beautifully forgotten within my then generation-- heroism. We were shown that being a hero comes with so many sacrifices. So many Police, Fire, EMS, lives were traded that day. Well bodies strangers running into what must have looked like pure Hell from their view to help people they didn’t even know. They traded their lives in hopes that one life sacrificed could save so many more. They thought of the greater good instead of themselves-instead of their families. Not a single one had time to think about the RACE, GENDER, SEXUAL PREFERENCE, RELIGION, or ANY detail about the stranger they were helping—it didn’t matter. Thank God for those who sacrificed without a thought.
ASK.YOURSELF.TODAY
Can you help someone today that you ordinarily may not? We all like to think we are good people, but are we really when it is truly put to test? I use to believe our decisions were developed based upon the options that we had to choose from—I know believe those who truly want to make a difference will…

They spoke to the fears that we all sleep on at night—the security of our freedom and our country. However, it was more than that. We will make it more than that. Remember 9/11 sacrifices, bravery, and heroism today, tomorrow, and every day--remind yourself of the greater good. God bless our heroes, God bless our Troops, and God Bless you my fellow American! I may not share your views as you may not share mine, but THANK GOD WE ARE AMERICAN!🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸
