There’s more to Downtown Woodstock than meets the eye—the upcoming Creative Woodstock Walking Tour offers a closer look at its creative side.

On Thursday, August 27, 2026, the tour will explore public art currently on display throughout Downtown Woodstock, discuss plans for additional public art, and share information about the area’s creative economy. Participants will also visit Made Mercantile to hear the behind-the-scenes story of this home to local makers.

The event runs from 6:00 PM to 7:30 PM. Participants will meet at the Woodstock Visitors Center, 8588 Main St, Woodstock, GA 30188, before departing on the walking tour. Each tour lasts approximately 45 minutes, and comfortable walking shoes are recommended.

The 2026 Family Fun Night season is wrapping up with an “Under the Sea” evening in Downtown Woodstock.

Family Fun Night: Under the Sea concludes this summer’s Family Fun Night series with tropical, beach- and ocean-themed activities throughout Downtown Woodstock. The evening will culminate with the animated movie “Moana” on the Woodstock Arts Event Green.

The Family Fun Night series takes place on the third Thursday of the month from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM, with activities happening throughout Downtown Woodstock before the featured movie.
