🚨 Slow Down Move Over Washington Awareness Event & Procession

The Towing & Recovery Association of Washington (TRAW) is proud to support the Slow Down Move Over Washington Awareness Event & Procession on Saturday, November 7, 2026, at the Tacoma Dome.

In recent weeks, Washington has seen multiple roadside incidents involving tow operators and law enforcement officers. From the loss of Trooper Tara-Marysa Guting in Tacoma in 2025 to the recent incidents in Belfair, Kennewick, Kittitas County, and Federal Way, the message is clear: roadside safety cannot wait.

We are bringing together towing professionals, law enforcement, fire and EMS, WSDOT Incident Response, road crews, and community members from across Washington to stand united for one mission: protecting everyone who works on or finds themselves on our roadways.

🚛 Procession planned for 12:00 PM

You do not have to participate in the procession to show your support. Everyone is welcome to join us for the morning gathering and stand alongside the people who put themselves at risk to help others.
