One of the best parts of being part of the IPG family is celebrating each other’s wins - both inside and outside the office.

This week, we’re proudly cheering on Cayden Kroll, son of our Chief Growth & Development Officer, Katie Kroll (and Casey Kroll), and Kingston Quinn, son of Financial Advisor Matt Quinn (and Lindsey Quinn), as they help lead River Falls, WI to the State Baseball Tournament!

Their hard work, dedication, and passion for the game have earned this moment, and their entire IPG family is rooting for them every step of the way.

Most people don't realize their estate plan has gaps. Here are 3 mistakes we see come up time and time again:

1️⃣ Outdated beneficiary designations — Life changes, and your beneficiaries should reflect that. A divorce, a death, or a new baby can completely change who should inherit your assets.

2️⃣ Not coordinating accounts and trusts — Even a well written trust can be undermined if your accounts aren't properly titled or aligned with your plan.

3️⃣ No will or trust in place — Without one, the state decides what happens to your assets. That's rarely what anyone actually wants.

The good news? All of these are fixable and easier to address than most people think.

"It’s an exciting day for IPG! I get to announce the promotion of Katie Kroll to Chief Growth & Development Officer. Some promotions are about recognizing achievement, and others are about recognizing impact. Katie embodies all our core values, but it’s for sure the positive impact she brings to IPG that stands out the most.

When I reflect on IPG, and where we are today as an organization, it's impossible to tell our story without talking about Katie. Her passion for helping others, positivity, and drive are responsible for the relationships we've built, the culture we've created, the advisors we've helped, and the growth we've experienced along the way.

Katie has never sought the spotlight. Instead, she has consistently chosen to serve others, lead with humility, and do whatever was needed to help our team, our advisors, and our organization succeed. Through every season of growth, challenge, and opportunity, she has been a steady leader, trusted team member, and source of encouragement for everyone around her.

After our May team meeting, the IPG team volunteered at Feed My Starving Children, packing meals for children in Uganda. Together, we packed enough meals to feed 45 children for an entire year!

Spending the afternoon serving together was a meaningful reminder of the impact a few hours and a shared purpose can have. It gave us the chance to step away from the day-to-day, work alongside one another, and contribute to something bigger than ourselves.

We’re grateful for the opportunity to support the mission of Feed My Starving Children and proud of our team for showing up and getting involved. 💙
