Observed each year on October 15, White Cane Safety Day recognizes the independence, confidence, and achievements of people who are blind or have low vision. It also raises awareness of the white cane as an important mobility tool.

Today is a reminder that accessibility, awareness, and respect help make our communities more welcoming for everyone.
