What a weekend! Traveled to TCNJ for the SONJ Summer Games 2023. The athletes were fantastic and won many medals. Special Thanks to all the sponsors, donors and contributors for making this weekend possible. We as coaches, parents, teachers, and athletes truly appreciate the love and support shown for the Special Needs Community.

I was deeply moved to receive this Certification from the Special Olympics 2022 USA Games. What an honor to serve these athletes and making a difference in their lives.

For those who don't know, my involvement in this space started when I was about 2 years old. My father who worked deeply in this community for over 20 years, showed me and raised me to care, love and respect all individuals regardless of their differences. Starting at age 18, I worked alongside my dad as my first job being involved in Special Olympics. During that time, I was able to coach sports like basketball, volleyball, and track just to name a few. Having this exposure solidified my passion dealing with this population and I have never been the same since.

Fast forward to the present, I'm proud to say I've seen many accomplishments and success throughout my years. Some athletes whom I coached participated at the USA Games and received 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place medals. Even with their incredible performances on the field nothing surpasses the hard work needed to get on this stage in front of cameras, news broadcasters, friends and family and people from all over the country. I'm glad I was able to witness their moment, in-person at the Disney World Resort.

This certificate means more to me than words can express. I'm very grateful and humbly solute myself for a job well done in Orlando Florida. May we do well together, and may the lives of all the athletes, coaches and volunteers never be the same.

The Special Olympics USA Games 2022 was something to remember, and I'm extremely grateful I was able to attend. Many athletes whom I've coached received 1st place medals and to wittiness their moment in-person was an experience like no other.

This community of heroes and inspirations should be given all the guidance needed to continue their success. May we continue doing great things together.

Starting at a very young age, basketball has been one of my favorite sports, especially at Special Olympics! Coaching and cheering on the athletes means the world to me. Find a way to get involved with an organization you love and can pour into to make someone else's day better.

Embrace your talents and gifts to show the world! One of my music instructors once told me, "If you take care of the horn, the horn will take care of you". This holds true for many skillsets, mine being music. The ability to express oneself creatively is a true work of art. Something to think about.

Two years ago, I coached basketball during the Rutgers Halftime show. Words cannot describe the joy and privilege I have to contribute towards Special Olympics NJ, but most importantly the athletes. Thank you for choosing me to be your coach! Looking forward to many more adventures in 2022!

In my humble opinion, being a teacher is one of the most important jobs in the world. Encouraging, uplifting and taking care of children and adolescents... I believe this is something we should all strive to do.
