PSA if you receive an insurance quote in the mail with the title being something to the tune of “URGENT: Your Home Insurance May Be Renewing!”, there’s about a 99.99% chance that quote is NOT real.

Today, in the mail, I received 4 different letters with quotes for my homeowners insurance. The same exact insurance PROVIDER, but 4 different agencies. 4 different agencies with 4 completely different quotes. NONE of them come close to the amount of coverage that I have on my home… below are the “quotes” with the information of the companies cropped out.

I recently inquired about these mailings for my own agency as an alternative way to market myself in the community, but after finding that these were not legitimate quotes getting sent out to people who were actively or passively requesting assistance, I immediately stopped pursuing this. This bait and switch marketing is not for me. There are no reports pulled, no loss history ran, nothing personalized to the consumer at all. Just a basic “estimated” quote put together for your home based on nothing but public county records.

Why start a relationship on a LIE?

This is what sets my agency apart. If you want an HONEST review to find out if you and your family are covered properly or if there are any gaps in your current coverage that you should be made aware of, request a review! This is why we are here and why we do what we do.
