1. What inspired you to start your business?
Owning a chocolate shop was a childhood dream. Owner, Jami has always loved chocolate—especially Peterbrooke—and the joy it brings to people. Peterbrooke Winter Park gave us the opportunity to combine our passion for handcrafted chocolate with a warm, welcoming neighborhood atmosphere where people can celebrate life's sweetest moments. We love sharing European-inspired chocolate-making traditions right in the heart of Park Avenue.

2. What is something people may not know about your business or brand?
This year marks the 25th anniversary of Peterbrooke Chocolatier of Winter Park. The shop was opened by Phyllis Geiger when her son, Peter, attended Rollins College. Seventeen years ago, Kevin and I purchased the business from Phyllis, and what a sweet ride it has been!

Many people are also surprised to learn that many of our chocolates and specialty treats are handcrafted in small batches right in our shop. From our Dubai and Biscoff Bars to hand-dipped strawberries, pretzels, Oreos, and truffles, there's a great deal of artistry, craftsmanship, and attention to detail behind every item we create.

3. What is your favorite part about being a small business owner?
The best part is being connected to the community and crew. We get to be part of birthdays, anniversaries, holidays, graduations, and everyday celebrations. Building relationships with our guests and crew and seeing families return year after year is incredibly rewarding. Knowing we've become a small part of their traditions is what makes this business so special.

4. Is there a product, service, or upcoming event you're especially excited about right now?
Our signature chocolate-covered popcorn continues to be a customer favorite and one of our most iconic products. We're also excited about introducing new chocolate creations, including our new Biscoff Cookie Butter Bar. Whether guests are celebrating a special occasion or simply treating themselves, we're always looking for new ways to make their experience a little sweeter.

Siegel’s Clothing has been family owned and operated for four generations, with roots dating back to 1888 in the Midwest. In the 1980s, our family brought the business to Central Florida, where we have proudly served the community for nearly 40 years. What continues to inspire us is carrying on a family tradition built on quality, service, and relationships while creating a shopping experience that feels welcoming for every generation.

2. What is something people may not know about your business or brand?
Many people are surprised to learn that we are truly a full line specialty store for the whole family. We offer apparel and gifts for men, women, and children, along with home décor, accessories, and so much more. Whether someone is shopping for a special occasion, updating their wardrobe, decorating their home, or looking for the perfect gift, we strive to offer something unique for everyone.

3. What is your favorite part about being a small business owner?
Without a doubt, it’s the relationships we have built over the years, serving customers and their families for now 4 generations. So many of our customers have become like family to us. Being part of their special moments and milestones — from holidays and celebrations to watching families grow up together — is incredibly meaningful. Helping people look and feel their best while creating lasting connections is what makes what we do so rewarding.

We’re especially excited to celebrate Winter Park’s America’s 250th birthday campaign and all of the community events surrounding it.
