What is Bodily Injury coverage?
Most Florida drivers have it on their policy — but can't explain what it actually does.
Bodily Injury does NOT protect you.
It protects the other person if you cause an accident.
It can help pay for:
→ Their medical bills
→ Their lost wages
→ Legal costs if they pursue action against you
What most people don't know is Florida does not require Bodily Injury coverage. And without it, or with limits that are too low, you can be personally responsible for costs your policy doesn't cover.
