🚗💰 BIG NEWS for Florida Drivers — Auto Insurance Refunds Are Coming! 💰🚗

Yes, it’s real! Progressive Insurance just announced that they’ll be refunding nearly $1 billion to Florida auto insurance customers. Here’s why 👇

Florida has a law called the “Excess Profits Law” (Statute 627.066) that limits how much profit auto insurance companies can make. If an insurer earns too much — more than their expected profit plus 5% — they’re legally required to refund the extra money to their policyholders.

Thanks to recent changes that cut down on fraud and lawsuits, claims costs have dropped dramatically. The result? Insurers like Progressive made higher profits than the law allows, so now that extra money is coming back to you! 🙌

Here’s what to expect:
✅ Refunds will go out as either a check or a credit on your current policy.
✅ You’ll get it automatically if you had a Progressive auto policy in Florida during the qualifying period.
✅ The company is still finalizing the details, but keep an eye on your mail or email for official updates.

And the best part — Progressive may not be the only one! Other insurance companies might also issue refunds soon under the same law.
