Mississippi leadership will never, not in a million years, convince me to give one lonely f**k what someone’s spending their SNAP benefits on.

So many people are one health emergency, one missed paycheck, one blown transmission away from being in that benefits line themselves.

Life is hard. Let dad buy his kid a Snickers. Let mom pick up a salty snack after work. Let mamaw grab a “prepared dish” or whatever the hell y’all are mad about. Cut folks some slack.
