A large part of our practice is Medicare planning. People have asked us why we do this? Because healthcare costs, including prescription drug costs, can substantially dwindle a person's retirement assets if not planned for properly. This is an ACTUAL drug comparison report from medicare.gov for a client. She had no idea there were alternatives and this would have bankrupted her. So here is your answer to the original question: Free doesn't always mean cheap. This is why we do this for our clients.
