Last year I joined the Home Builders Association of W-S on behalf of Ann Chilton Realty Inc and have been meeting with the Stokes Alliance sub-committee. This was the second panel discussion which included Stokes County Inspectors, City of King Inspectors, City of King Planning and Zoning, and City of King Manager.

As a realtor, our paths may not cross with these folks everyday, but they are there for us when the need arises. I’ve actually been working with a client recently to work closely with county inspectors to bring a previously built property up to code. Just this week we were issued a CO.

15 years ago this agency was started from scratch. It was built on reputation using long established industry relationships that were created by Rick over the course of his career.

We are thankful to our customers who are made up of our friends and family. We appreciate our relationship with each of you and we enjoy that friendship very much.

We are also thankful for our team ("the gang"). We truly are a small business who is family oriented and we live that here every day. Our team includes Libby Moose (the Wonder Pup) and Mia (also a pup), Amy, Gray, Rick and soon to come.... Noah.

Thank you for sharing these years with us, we look forward to many decades to come.

West Stokes High School's carpentry class is giving away birdhouses for donations to help the rebuild effort in Western North Carolina. Bring saw blades, trashbags, small tools, bits, etc. You may also bring those donations to Habitat Stokes or the Home Builders Association of Winston Salem.

I was very thankful to be a part of this. The King Chamber of Commerce and Habitat for Humanity of Stokes County.

If you weren't able to attend, it was very moving to see so many members of the community come together to recognize the incredible works of Habitat Stokes over the past 25 years. It was also wonderful to see and meet some Habitat homeowners and Restore volunteers/patrons.

What a great organization and what a dedicated and giving staff. You all rock!

Who Your Insurance Agent Is Doesn't Matter...Until It Does. Gray’s father Rick, has served our community for 30 years in the insurance industry. He has owned multiple agencies and served in many associations, civic clubs and events. In 2009, Rick opened Busch Insurance Services, Inc. with a phone, a computer and an empty file drawer.

In 2013, Gray came on board and they began to grow together. After 9 successful years of our last name being on our door, we have rebranded to Red Door Insurance Group, Inc. Same guys, just a jazzier name. Gray looks forward to serving the same community for the next 30 years.
