Lending your car to someone seems pretty straightforward.
Friend needs it… you hand them the keys… no big deal.
But this is one of those situations where there’s usually more going on behind the scenes than people realize.
A lot of it comes down to how things are set up—and it’s not always the same for everyone.
I end up having conversations about this more often than you’d think, especially when something unexpected happens and people start asking questions after the fact.

“Full coverage” is one of the most common phrases people use when talking about car insurance.
But here’s the thing…
It doesn’t always mean the same thing to everyone.
For some people, it just means they added a couple extra coverages.
For others, it means they feel “fully protected.”
And in a lot of cases, there’s a gap between what people think it means… and how their policy is actually set up.

After a storm rolls through, this is one of the most common questions I hear:
“If a tree falls… whose insurance takes care of it?”
Most people assume it’s automatically based on whose tree it was.
But situations like this usually aren’t that simple.
There are a few factors that can come into play, and a lot of times people don’t realize that until they’re dealing with it in real life.
I’ve walked through this with quite a few homeowners after storms around here, and it’s one of those things that’s helpful to understand before you ever have to deal with it.

Most people don’t realize how much changes when a teen driver gets behind the wheel for the first time.
It’s not just about teaching them to drive…
It’s everything that comes with it:
✔ how your policy is set up
✔ what’s actually covered
✔ and where people unknowingly leave gaps
I’ve had a lot of conversations with parents lately who assumed everything was good to go—until we took a closer look.

We’re so excited to welcome Kalei to our team!
