Here’s to Jorja McCrea, who is graduating from Green Mountain Union High School!

Jorja will attend Vermont State University Randolph Campus, where she plans to pursue an Associate Degree in Veterinary Science. She's pictured here with her furry friend, Nico.

Throughout high school, Jorja participated in Upward Bound and VSAC’s GEAR UP college and career readiness program. Her VSAC outreach counselor, Jessi Krause Herron, says Jorja has dedicated significant time and effort to planning her future and has already shown a strong commitment to her chosen field.

Congratulations, Jorja, and best wishes as you begin this exciting next chapter!

Montpelier's Basement Teen Center will unveil “Color Coded Chaos,” a mural created by local teens, as part of the town's Art Walk.

Every Basement Teen Center participant had the chance to contribute to the mural, which was developed over five months in partnership with National Life Group and SafeArt, a wellness and healing nonprofit.

The project gave students an opportunity to collaborate, express themselves, and build connections. Congrats to these students for their creative, meaningful contribution to their space and community!

A mural will make its grand debut at the Montpelier Art Walk on June 5 from the Basement Teen Center and SafeArt.
